i've been thinking about it a lot lately, more than anything else really. Fiona's mum died, and she and I had been friends for twenty five years, and so I think about it, and her.

I hope Fiona is "grieving well", whatever that means. I can't imagine it myself... too much guilt for things said that shouldn't have been, things unsaid that should have been. All those "if onlys" and "what ifs".
I'm so sorry for Fiona's loss, and your loss, and the kids loss. Awful.
